That may be walking, running, or taking a class. The most important thing is to MOVE :)Jessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14253721829602402266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8965628278599611608.post-38688410943632370402012-02-18T11:39:49.928-08:002012-02-18T11:39:49.928-08:00I have read that you actually burn more calories w...I have read that you actually burn more calories walking because running it too efficent and your body adapts quickly to it. I use to be a runner but due to knee surgeries I am a walker now, with just a touch of running sometimes.Christinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00190353330857132739noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8965628278599611608.post-7733991748050832182012-02-18T09:55:43.451-08:002012-02-18T09:55:43.451-08:00I agree with Myra/downsizers. I have tested it many times. :)Marenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09723154108032675494noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8965628278599611608.post-82794242537452314922012-02-18T07:35:46.189-08:002012-02-18T07:35:46.189-08:00I have read that you can get the same benefits fro...I have read that you can get the same benefits from walking a mile as running that same mile. It will just take longer to walk it. Running is high impact - can be hard on joints. For some reason running seems to be viewed as the "elite" exercise and people aspire to run and that's great. It is not for everybody however. I mean for me - I walked every day and loved it but all of a sudden it didn't exhaust me or make me sweat and my body "needed" to go faster. BUT I walked for a LONG time before I ever ran. And running was slow and short - but longer and faster each day. Good luck!♥ Drazil ♥https://www.blogger.com/profile/10177140029694038645noreply@blogger.com
