Prayers!

I am asking for Prayers for a close family member. We just got word that his Cancer has moved into his lungs, liver and chest lymph nodes. He has been diagnosed with Mucoepidermoid Cancer and because of this being so rare they are not sure what options they have.

If any of you know of someone who has had this type of Cancer, or treatment options please let me know.

God is always at our side, and people hear our Prayers.

Blessed

Good Morning everyone!!:)

I first of all want to say my husband is such an amazing man! He bought me a gift a few days ago and I absolutely LOVE IT!

iPod Touch, 2 cases, gift card, and an arm band to put it in when I walk:) God has blessed me beyond measure!!
This is a picture of my husband and little boy taken this fall.

I feel like I shouldn't be rewarded for losing weight because it isnt about that. The rewards have come in other ways... Health, mind and soul. This was a wonderful suprise though and am enjoying every minute of listening to it:)

My hope is for all of my blogger friends to have wonderful and supportive people in their lives to be a role model or "cheerleader".

Wrappin' it up

Today I am wrappin' up my yogurt taste testing fun:)I have had fun doing this, I always enjoy sharing my opinions with you. I hope this has helped some of you:0)

Here is #5: Chobani Greek Yogurt, 140 calories, 0 fat, 0 fiber. Was over $1.00 in price for 1.

I thought this yogurt had a nice creamy texture, not to sweet and just enough of the fruit on the bottom to add in. It's a must try!

Yogurt #6:

Apple Pie Yogurt...I am SOLD! At 100 calories, this was my second favorite by far. The first being the caramel WW yogurt from a previous post. If you love Apple Pie you will love this! The chunks of apple are to die for:)Super creamy and .80 a piece this yogurt is worth it for sure!!

I hope all of you have a wonderful weekend. Stay strong and faithful to yourself and your diet. See you all back here on Monday!

Santa you are so not "nice"

Well we are back from Florida...

We had beautiful weather in the 80's each and everyday. I will post pics in a later post:) But along with the lovely weather came allergies and effects from the A/C:( Now I am dealing with a terrible cold, sore throat and ear ache..not fun!!

I think Santa must not like me to much..Haha!

I really did not do well with my eating/dieting while we were away. #1 Florida/Disney World doesn't care that you are eating low carb ..frankly they are Carb lovers!!

Hot dogs, mickey ice cream novelties, mickey chocolate dipped rice krispie treats, cinnamon rolls, brownies...the list goes on and on:(

So to make a long story short, when you are eating VERY little carbs and then you eat like a months worth in 6 days you feel like "junk", you are bloated:( and you put on weight VERY quickly!!

I can tell you that the scale is not my friend right now, and I am considering going back to Weight Watchers so that this doesn't happen again and so my body can have more "variety"....????

Here's the shocker 8 lbs. up right now, we will see what Monday brings for the final numbers.

I am going to enjoy my family and the food on Christmas and I hope all of you will do the same!:)

I am ready to get back on track and know I can lose these extra pounds that I am up. Time to get back at it and rock it in 2012!!!!!

Tx for sticking by me and supporting me, it means more than you know:)

Make it happen

I saw this and it is something I have heard many times before...

Have you ever over heard someone say this very thing, or even said it your self before?

I know I have!

I think now that I have lost weight I am noticing things more lately. My husband I stopped at Wendy's yesterday to grab a bite to eat for lunch after we meet with our travel agent. I really did not want to go, I will be honest.. It still takes a concious effort to order the "right" thing! My mind is trained to say when I get up to order my meal make that a large..fries and pop! It just makes me sick what I have done to myself the last few years!!

I am going to have an honest moment hear with all of you..

As I am sitting there in the restaurant I can't help but glance around at the others enjoying their food( and look at what they are eating )The food they are eating literally makes my stomach turn:(

I guess this could be looked at as a huge turning point for me...

But trust me one moment of weakness and I could be the one with the "SUPERSIZED MEAL"!!!

I try to listen to people when they tell me they want to lose weight, but like this picture you have to STOP eating junk and start at some point. I wish I wouldn't have waited this long to get off my butt and make it happen!

I wouldn't trade how I feel now for anything:)

Having support is everything

Yesterday my cute husband and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch all alone...NO kids:) It was GREAT!!!! We sat in the booth and acted like two love struck teenagers;) It's amazing how much support he has given me on this weight loss journey. He does feel a bit neglected due to my lack of baking lately! I was baking at least 2-3 times a week before, now it is 0 times a week unless it is for a function of some sort. He will survive....I think;) I am at my best when I do not have temptation staring my in the face 24/7. I love my life right now but wish I wouldn't have waited as long as I did to feel like this. Have a great weekend everyone!!! Mondays weigh in is quickly approaching...
