Having support is everything

Yesterday my cute husband and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch all alone...NO kids:) It was GREAT!!!! We sat in the booth and acted like two love struck teenagers;) It's amazing how much support he has given me on this weight loss journey. He does feel a bit neglected due to my lack of baking lately! I was baking at least 2-3 times a week before, now it is 0 times a week unless it is for a function of some sort. He will survive....I think;) I am at my best when I do not have temptation staring my in the face 24/7. I love my life right now but wish I wouldn't have waited as long as I did to feel like this. Have a great weekend everyone!!! Mondays weigh in is quickly approaching...

  1. Aw i love those dates with no kids. Its so....quiet and you can talk like adults.

  2. Sounds like a great date you had.. It's really important with some alone time like that :)

  3. Very lucky to have support. I followed a forum thread a couple of weeks ago from someone who's husband brings home junk food all the time and wants to eat out etc.. the thread degenerated into half saying that in a good relationship your partner should support changes to your life and others saying, well, otherwise.

If we all had the will power to resist in the first place, we would never have put on weight. Having support and not having temptation put in front of us is critical to some people's success.
