Sucess is a matter of bad do you want it??

I think it is IMPORTANT to set goals for yourself especially when it comes to losing weight.

My 1st goal and most important is to be healthier inside, not just on the outside.

Goal #2: To get under my weight that I was when I had my youngest son...6 YEARS AGO!!! That is pretty sad to think about as I am typing this. Why did I let this go for so long??? Bright side is I accomplished this goal 7 lbs. ago:) My son turns 6 on Saturday. WHOOT HOOT!!

Goal #3: Get into these awesome jeans!!

Goal #4: Total weight loss goal is to lose 40lbs. I am half way there:)

Last but not least..

Not to eat this whole box of SUPER YUMMY ice cream treats! Hahaha...

Have a great day everyone!

  1. I think it's really important to have some goals to work against.. That certainly motivates me!

Congratulations on reaching one of yours :D

  2. I love the title of this post. My husband told me once when I was "stuck" - maybe you don't want it bad enough. At first I was mad at him. I didn't think he understood. Now I know he was right. We really can do whatever we want. It might not be easy or come quickly, but if we want it badly enough- we will do whatever it takes and fight for it. That is what YOU are doing right now. You are doing great! I can't wait to see a picture of those jeans with you in them!!!

  3. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I see you follow Jamie too and I know you have been inspired by her weight loss...I sure was. In January of this year at the age of 50(!) I decided to give back to my hubby the wife that he married. After 4 kids and a waistline that stretched past 41 inches in the height of pregnancies, I wanted to gift him with that surprise. I have done it. I am right at 30 pounds weight-loss which puts me at my marriage and pre-baby weight. He LOVES it! and I feel great. One of my sons is a certified personal trainer, so he has helped me and really stayed on me to stick to it. MY best line from him to repeat (mantra) is "Just Keep Doing What You are Doing" other words DON'T STOP...even if there wasn't ONE pound lost in a week. and I did. and it worked. I am in maintenance mode now and strength training with handweights, because flexibility and bone density exercises are what count most now. KEEP ON KEEPING ON and don't stop. NO. MATTER. WHAT. I weigh in every Friday. **when working to lose weight I only weighed in once a month, because any more than that was sometimes a downer. My son said that I was to shoot for 1 to 1.5 pounds lost per week, and NO more...that is the best way to take it off and KEEP it off. the slower it comes off....the more likely it is to NEVER come back. (which is why so MANY people probably gain most back) FAST weight loss is unhealthy and NO GOOD! You Go Girl. I will read along here and see how it goes. Have a great and Feel-Good day.! God bless your efforts. God receives glory from how we take care of and steward our earthsuits too!!! :-)
