Setting your goal weight

The question of the day is:

"How do you determine what your goal weight should be?"

Please share how you have set your goal weights. I would love to hear from you!

  1. I have an idea in my head of what I want but I also consider the BMI factors into it. With my food tracking program their is a calculator that helps you determine a healthy weight.

  2. Back in my 20's I lost a lot of weight and was at 175lbs. I felt great.. so I know that at 175 I am going to look and feel where I want to be. I might lose more, but I know 175 is going to be my goal. If you don't remember a time when you felt skinny, then look at the bmi for a guideline. I disagree with their weight on my normal, but look at where you would be to go from obese to over weight and then take 20 lbs off.

  3. I set my goal weight when I first started WW. Once I hit goal weight I decided I wanted to change it to 5 lower. I am still trying to get there. You would think that I could lose 5 pounds pretty easily after losing 80! Not so much! My happy weight might be right where I am now- but I still want to try and see what it will be like to maintain 5 less!!

  4. I only have a rough goal weight. I have never been slim in my adult life, so I have no idea. I'll just take it as it comes. Also, I'm thinking more clothes size rather than scale number, because I want to gain a lot of muscle.
